Once you've reviewed & printed your toolkit you must then register online at Canada Helps Org as an INDIVIDUAL or a TEAM. If your TEACHER has already signed up, you can also search for your TEAM NAME.
Whether you're an instrumentalist, actor, drummer, pianist, singer, choir, school band, speech actor, poet, dancer...if you love to perform, we want to hear from you! You don’t have to be participating in the actual festival to join!

3. FUNDRAISING EXAMPLES
Ask your friends or family if they might donate 25 cents up to $1 for every minute practiced, five dollars for every day of practice, or a set amount of $50.00 for the three weeks of practice. Between March 1-21, keep track of your practice time and follow up with your sponsors for donations. Be sure to tell your friends and family you are raising important funds for the Calgary Performing Arts Festival which is a non-profit organization that develops and supports diverse programming throughout the year and provides everyone, regardless of age and ability, with the opportunity to perform!

PRIZES: The top fundraiser will win an Apple Watch! For every $25 that your student raises, they will get entered into a draw for awesome prizes !
All studios, schools, organizations that participate will be recognized at the Festival.
Teams who raise $1000 OR have 10 students register will receive a spotlight feature on social media.
The Festival instills confidence and an appreciation for excellence that carries many participants into successful careers in the arts industry and otherwise. Donations will support the CPAF, ensuring that all amateur artists have a chance to perform in the community.
